Pam Clark

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor. Although I predominantly work at Converse College as the Director of the Marriage and Family Therapy Program, I also maintain a small private practice at WestGate Training and Consultation Network where I conduct supervision of marriage and family therapy trainees as well as see clients. I have been a practicing therapist for over ten years and work with individuals, couples and families.

When I work with individuals or families, I use a narrative and solution focused approach in which we explore for meaning and co-construct solutions to life’s problems. With couples, I predominantly use Emotionally Focused Couples therapy in which we identify destructive couple behavioral cycles and find ways to replace them with more satisfying and connective interactions. Office hours are by appointment.
