Play Therapy Certificate Program
The purpose of the program is to provide training in the theory and practice of play therapy. The training through the certificate program offers the academic requirements and supervision necessary for pursuing status as a Registered Play Therapist through the Association for Play Therapy (APT). Applications for the 2009- 2010 program are currently being accepted.
Full program cost is $3,600.00. This includes 150 hours instruction, practicum, and practicum supervision. Classes are offered on weekends to accommodate the working professional.
We will design an individualized program that meets your needs and takes into account any training you have already completed.

Play Therapy Techniques
Play Therapy Applications for Special Populations
Filial Play Therapy
Play Therapy for School Counselors
Practicum
Our Instructors include Registered Play Therapy Supervisors and Marriage and Family Therapists.
Admission Requirements:
A Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy. Applicants need to have completed courses in the following areas:
- Human Growth and Development
- Theories of Personality
- Principles of Psychotherapy
- Child and Adolescent Psychopathology
- Legal, Ethical and Professional Issues
