Wayne Hyatt

I am the Executive Director and Program Director for The WestGate Training and Consultation Network, Inc. working as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor, and a pastoral counselor. My background includes over 16 years of counseling experience working with varied populations to include; individuals, couples, families, children and adolescents, military men and women returning from deployment and their families, and clients of the Department of Social Services. In addition to working with the populations mentioned above, I have experience working as a therapist on a family preservation team in a mental health facility, juvenile court diversion counselor, facilitator for the families in transition program in Kentucky, facilitator of the Survivor’s of Suicide of Spartanburg County, and facilitator for the Survivor’s After Violent Encounters Group. I am also trained in Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD) and The National Organization of Victim Assistance (NOVA).
I meet people where they are in life and help them work towards goals they have set for themselves or to make sense out of the storms life sometimes brings. I enjoy working with couples who are struggling with marital issues, families looking to strengthen relationships, as well as individuals from a young age to senior adults who are looking for someone to listen and journey with them through this time in their life. My desire is to help people find hope in the midst of whatever they may be facing when they come to my office. My office hours are by appointment with day and evening appointments available at this time.
